Me and my silly faces

Mommy and Daddy have noticed that when I want attention, I make a silly face! Usually mommy and daddy just laugh, but this time mommy couldn't help but take some pictures of me.

I love to wrinkle up my nose and squint my eyes.

My First Halloween!

I wasn't feeling so good, so I didn't get to go Trick or Treating, but mommy took me to daddy's work and I got to help hand out candy at home! Of course mommy had to take a ton of pictures. Here are some of my favorites. I hope everyone had a great Halloween!

The CARDINALS have won the World Series!!!

People said we weren't going to win the division...but we did! They said we weren't going to win the NLCS, but we beat those New York Mets! We weren't suppose to win the world series...but tonight, that's exactly what our Redbirds did! We bet those Tigers 4 games to 1. I can't wait for the parade! Yeah Redbirds!

Ack! Ack! Sorry Hairball!

I've been too busy to write!

I'll post new pictures of me soon....but here's what I've been doing.....
Last week, I went to Grant's Farm for their 5th Annual Halloween Celebration with mommy, daddy, Lisa, Tim and Ernie. Even though it was rainy, I stayed warm dressed like a monkey. I loved riding the train in the dark and looking at everything. While mommy danced like a chicken, I had to laugh at her..she looked so silly. Mommy, Lisa, Ernie and I all did the Hokey Pokey. That was so much fun too! Where was daddy and Tim you ask? They were watching Game 1 of the World Series on the HUGE TV that was set up in the courtyard. I fell asleep on the way home and don't even remember mommy and daddy putting me to bed.

Monday I went and saw Dr. Rezabek for my checkup. He told mommy that he was very happy with me. I wasn't quite sure about him this time...even though he sang me some songs, I knew what was coming. I got 2! shots and my finger poked. I hope I'm done with shots. I now weigh 26 pounds 2 ounces and I am 31 3/4 inches tall. I'm getting SOOO big! After my appointment, we went and saw daddy at work. I love visiting him at work because everyone plays with me. Sara was there and I decided to be shy and not smile at her, but I smiled at everyone else. Mommy and Sara thought I was being silly, but I was just flirting. Afterall, I have to play hard to get sometimes!

This week I started walking more and more with mommy and daddy's help. I have so much fun walking up and down the hallway. I don't know HOW mommy and daddy got exercise before I came along. I make sure that they don't sit for any long period of time. I also love walking behind my push toy. I have also discovered the bathroom. Pulling the toilet paper is the best!

Tomorrow Marc and I are going to have our pictures taken together...me as a monkey and him as a dinosaur (I think). Won't we look silly together? Check next week for pictures.

Mommy's Birthday

Yesterday was mommy's birthday! Daddy and I planned some very fun things for her. First, I woke mommy and daddy up at 6:15am and came to bed with them. After we all got up, we all played together until breakfast and naptime. After naptime, we went to have lunch at The Cheesecake Factory with Aunt Tab.

I got to eat some bananas and some yummy bread. Mommy even let me have a taste of some whipped cream that was on her cheesecake. Everything was so yummy!! After lunch, we went to Build a Bear where mommy and I made a monkey for me.

I love Tickles the monkey. In fact, shopping wore me out and I took a nap with Tickles. After we got home, I played with mommy and daddy and daddy gave mommy her birthday present from us. Mommy was so excited to get her Food Processor.

I don't know what it does, but I hope it has something to do with food and that mommy will make some yummy food for us! I gave mommy her other present when I slept the whole night through! I didn't wake up until 6:50am!

Happy Birthday Mommy! I LOVE you!

My fun weekend

This was a busy action packed weekend. Saturday afternoon, we went grocery shopping with grandma AND mommy had a Discovery Toys party at our house. I had so much fun playing with all of these really neat toys and my friend Marc! I hope Santa will bring me some of them for my birthday. Saturday night we went to Great grandma's for a welcome home party for my cousin, Kate. She moved back home from a place called Hawai'i. GG's was very crowded, but I was happy to see everyone!

On Sunday after church, mommy and daddy left me at home with Dusty and they went to the Rams Football game. Dusty and I had so much fun playing and reading stories. I heard mommy and daddy say that Dusty is going to come play with me again soon. I can't wait! Maybe I'll be walking by then. I have been trying so hard to take a step without holding on to anything but usually I end up on my bottom.

I think I need this week to relax from my busy weekend!

I Love Noodles & Co

After watching mommy and daddy eat yummy things at Noodles&Co, finally mommy let me try some buttered noodles. They were so good. I got them everywhere...in my hair, under my chin, on my chin, in my fingers, on my highchair and some actually made it to my mouth! I hope mommy lets me try the mac and cheese soon. Everything smelled so good! I'm sure we will go back.

They played an amazing game last night against the Padres. Let's hope they keep their streak up and they bet the Mets!

Mommy's update

We want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers this last week. Mommy is physically doing much better, but emotionally she is still on a crazy rollercoaster. She still can't sit on the floor to play with me but at least she can finally drive! She is still bruised but it looks so much better.
We got a bit of good news yesterday. Mommy found out yesterday that someone has been arrested for the shooting but they haven't been charged yet. No one will be charged unless someone can positively identify the suspect. Mommy and Daddy are praying that someone will be able to id the suspect.
Please continue to pray for mommy and daddy because they could definitely still use them.

My Godfather

Since I posted about my godmother, it would only be fair for me to post about my godfather, Rick. Daddy and Rick met when they both worked together in the library at Meramec. Rick and his wife Carolyn helped mommy and daddy do a bunch of stuff in our house when they moved in. Rick was one of the groomsmen in mommy and daddy's wedding. He also helped daddy get my room all ready for me.

I don't get to see them all that often either, but I love playing with their son Billy when we do get to get together.

I hope we get to hang out soon!

My Godmother

My godmother, Nicole is upset that I don't write about her on here so here I go:

Mommy and Daddy met Nicole at a wedding reception. Nicole told mommy that she was trying to get started as a wedding planner and since mommy didn't have that 'mother' figure to help her with her wedding to daddy, she hired Nicole. Well her and Nicole became really good friends and mommy couldn't even think about asking anymore else to be my Godmother. BUT I hardly ever get to see her. Mommy and Nicole are always SOOO busy!

Mommy told me tonight that I may get to see her tomorrow though. I can't wait. I want to show her how big I am and all my cool toys. I think my 2 godsisters are coming too. I hope that they are nice to me. I'll let you know tomorrow how my day went. I'm sure mommy will take plenty of pictures of us together.

ST. LOUIS
Stray bullet strikes woman on city street

A woman was hit in the hip by a stray bullet outside a St. Louis restaurant Friday night, police said.
The 27-year-old woman (Mommy) was near the intersection of Wyoming Street and Grand Boulevard (Pho Grand) with friends (4 of my husband's coworkers, their spouses and 2 children) about 8 p.m. when a group of boys on a corner about a block away quarreled and three shots were fired, a witness said. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening. (They are not, but they sure do HURT!) Police believed the teen who fired the shots was on a bicycle.
---------------
This story is about mommy! She does have a gun shot wound but we are all thankful that it was not worse. It was very scary!

Please keep everyone especially mommy in your prayers.
