Mommy gave me a Popsicle for the first time tonight after dinner. At first I wasn't quite sure what it was or what I was suppose to do with it but once mommy had me lick it, I knew exactly what I was suppose to do.

Famiy BBQ
This past weekend we had family over for our semi-annual, whenever we feel like having it family BBQ. I was such a good boy sitting in my high chair eating such yummy food that everyone brought and mommy and daddy made. I think my favorite was Cousin Larry's German Chocolate Cake and Aunt Kathy's yummy strawberries! Here are some pictures of my day...
Memorial Day....
Please remember that Memorial Day is more than just a day off from school or work or a time to go out of town for a family barbeque or a day at the beach or the pool. There are some Americans that will not be enjoying their Memorial Day, but remembering the sacrifices of their loved ones who have died.
Josh and Bryce, you both are in our thoughts are prayers as are all the other servicemen and women across the world.

Memo to Thomas...
Ok Mr.Thomas..I thought that we had your schedule down to a science. You were in bed by 8 and up by 7...sometimes 6:30 but you would veg out in your crib until mommy and daddy came in at 7 to free you from the confines of your crib. For the last week though, you have been asleep by 8:15 but up anytime between 5:45 and 6. Instead of vegging out in your crib and being content, you have decided that you need to talk to mommy and daddy through the monitor. This morning at 6am you made it known that you were awake and you were ready to get up. You talked to mommy and daddy for 45 minutes as long as you could without crying or screaming. I really wish I understood what you were saying because you sounded very smart. (which we know you are anyways) Now mommy knows that the sleep lady says that you may wake up between 6-7am and that's perfectly normal, but mommy and your baby sister like to sleep in a bit.
Anytime you want to sleep past 6:30 little man that would be great!
We love you
A very tired mommy and daddy.

A recent survey by Salary.com determined that an average stay-at-home mother would earn $131,471 annually, including overtime, if she received a paycheck. It's estimated that she works about 100 hours a week, and would be entitled to a base pay of $43,461, with an additional $88,009 for 60 overtime hours a week. Happy Mother's Day!
My mommy is worth more than that and I think you are too!

If you had just one wish.....
Shane Bernier is a courageous seven-year-old boy from Lancaster, Ontario who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was only five. On June 6th, 2006 Shane and his family received some unfortunate news: Shane experienced a relapse after completing 108 of 130 weeks of treatment.
However, despite the bad news, Shane has managed to keep a positive outlook on his situation and has made a heart-warming wish... He hasn’t asked for money or toys or anything of the sort. Instead, his birthday is on May 30th and he would like to break the world record for the most birthday cards ever received. His goal is 350 million cards. With every card, Shane’s courage grows. Something as simple as sending a birthday card could be enough to help Shane find peace and joy in his current circumstances.
Please take the time to send a card to Shane and make his dream become a reality. Share his story with your friends, family and co-workers. If at all possible, get your youth groups, church congregations, employees, neighbours or communities to set aside a few minutes to write a thoughtful note to Shane.
With every card, Shane’s smile grows...
If you’d like to send a card to Shane, please send it to:
