It's not just a day for BBQ, fireworks and swimming.
Today we remember names like Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and Franklin. We honor their courage and we honor their vision on the 4th of July. We're thankful that this nation they created 231 years ago remains free and independent and the best hope for all mankind. We ask for God's blessings on the military both at home and over seas as well as their safety today. The day we celebrate our freedom, we thank them for guaranteeing the freedom of the United States.
